August 2 Los Angeles to Seattle

After the madness of L.A it was off to Seattle with Alaskan Airlines.

Originally Richie and Shelley and Russ and I were all sitting in seats around the plan. Popples managed to stay together. ( How did that happen?) Anyway a bit of money exchanged hands and we ended up all together in an exit row. $16 per person was a good deal when we found out that you get free drinks when you are in that row.  That was a good start to the day.

Arrived in Seattle around 3 and then thought it would be a good idea to catch the train into town- its only 3 bucks. It is a great idea if you aren't logging multiple heavy suitcases behind you and then we couldn't work out how to get out of the station.  Finally found a taxi and now settled in our penthouse accomodation with panoramic views of the city. If we were any closer to the Space Needle we would be able to jump on to the top of it.
