Aug 19 Green River to Steamboat Springs

Today was another big day on the road with a lot of travel through the grasslands could try with the big rocks a does a starting to appear as we rode along. It's the big wide open spaces that you imagine you would see as you go along the highways of North America. We have  now changed states again and have travelled into Colorado  We are still at around 8000 feet elevation and it is amazing thing is that  most of the country we are travelling through is covered in snow in the winter time . Our day ended in a beautiful little town called Steam boat Springs which is  a magnificent ski resort town. Where we stayed was right at the base of the ski fields so you could sit on the balcony downstairs and look at the base of the ski runs. Very quiet and seemed to have the place to ourselves. Everyone is very tired so it was just a relaxing dinner in the restaurant downstairs with everyone sitting and chatting.
